This time we want to share a DIY idea using iron beads. A super easy craft to make with your kids. Find the supplies you'll need below and get ready to make some sushi!
Supplies:
- Ironi beads
- Baking/parchment paper
- Pegboard
- Iron
Step 1
Assort you beads as follows using the patterns below:
Nigiri Salmon
168 white beads, 42 black beads and 50 salmon pink beads.
Nigiri Tamago
168 white beads, 42 black beads and 50 yellow beads.
Ebimaki Salmon Avocado
168 white, 12 green, 8 yellow and 20 pink salmon beads.
Step 2
Take your pegboard and place you beads according to the above patterns. Making one sushi at a time.
Step 3
Create the designs on your pegboard.
Step 4
When your down creating your design, place your iron paper on your creation. Be really careful as your beads could still fall off.
Step 5
Heat up your iron and slide around in circles. Make sure to iron every bead. You can look through the parchment paper to see if the beads already melted. Carefully lift up your paper to see if it's completed. If not gently put the parchement paper back and iron 1 more minute.
Step 6
Lift up your parchment paper and flip it upside down. Watch out as it still can be hot.
Step 7
Place the 4 layers on top of each other and voila, you've create you first sushi.
Step 8
Repeat steps for the other design.
