Legal Guarantee
We want you to enjoy your Maison Deux products for a long time. All products purchased from Maison Deux are covered by the statutory legal guarantee applicable to consumers.
Legal guarantee
Under EU consumer law, you are entitled to a minimum two-year legal guarantee from the date you receive your product. Depending on the country where you live, additional or longer protection may apply.
In the Netherlands, there is no fixed statutory guarantee period. A product must meet the reasonable expectations you may have of it, taking into account the type of product, its price, the information provided about the product and its expected lifespan.
If a product does not meet these reasonable expectations under normal use, please contact us. Depending on the circumstances, we will offer an appropriate solution, such as repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund, in accordance with applicable consumer law.
What is covered?
The legal guarantee applies when a product does not conform to what you could reasonably expect from it. This may include manufacturing defects, material defects or a product that does not correspond with the description provided at the time of purchase.
What is not covered?
The legal guarantee does not cover damage or deterioration caused by normal wear and tear, improper use, accidents, failure to follow the care instructions or other circumstances for which Maison Deux is not responsible.
Natural characteristics of materials are not automatically considered defects. For example, wool and other natural fibres may show small variations in texture or appearance. Handmade and individually produced products may also show minor variations between pieces.
How to make a claim
If you believe there is a problem with your Maison Deux product, please contact us via info@maisondeux.com or WhatsApp and include your order number, a description of the issue and, where possible, clear photographs.
We will review your claim and contact you with the appropriate next steps.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by any additional warranty or guarantee offered by Maison Deux.
